Vet Day L.A. ’23 Block Party
The event will be in the parking lot of Bob Hope Patriotic Hall, 1816 S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, 90015 from 10am – 1pm.
The event will include speeches by esteemed guests such as Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, a resource fair at the Patriotic Hall Parking Lot, and family-friendly entertainment. The festivities will conclude with a celebrity Army vs. Navy basketball game coached by retired NBA players.
Former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (tentatively due to the recent strike) serving as the Grand Marshal, accompanied by Ms. Athena Fleming, USCG Veteran, representing the OEF/OIF/OND/OIR community, and Mr. Steve Peck, CEO and President of US Vets, representing the Vietnam Veteran community.
