Los Angeles County Training Center (Fire Camp)

Our Mission

The Los Angeles County Training Center (LACTC) is a program that will prepare participants for careers in the fire service with access to case management and supportive services.

Qualifications:

check circle icon Must be 18+ years old
check circle icon Must be able to reside at the Los Angeles County Training Center in Calabasas, CA
check circle icon Priority applications: Former justice involved, former foster system impacted, and veterans
check circle icon No arson and no sex crime convictions.

Program Highlights:

check circle icon Free residential accommodations and free meals at the Calabasas training facility
check circle icon Certifications, trainings, and career guidance in the fire services career field
check circle icon Preparation for Full Time / Seasonal positions in Forestry and Fire Careers
check circle icon Expungement assistance, as needed.

check circle icon Job coaching and job placement assistance
