Our Mission
The Los Angeles County Training Center (LACTC) is a program that will prepare participants for careers in the fire service with access to case management and supportive services.
Qualifications:
Must be 18+ years old
Must be able to reside at the Los Angeles County Training Center in Calabasas, CA
Priority applications: Former justice involved, former foster system impacted, and veterans
No arson and no sex crime convictions.
Program Highlights:
Free residential accommodations and free meals at the Calabasas training facility
Certifications, trainings, and career guidance in the fire services career field
Preparation for Full Time / Seasonal positions in Forestry and Fire Careers
Expungement assistance, as needed.
Case management support
Job coaching and job placement assistance
