Program Overview

The JCOD Specialized Treatment for Optimized Programming (STOP) program provides interim housing with individualized services to address criminogenic factors. We aim to create a meaningful alternative to incarceration to ensure successful reentry into the community. JCOD STOP has a capacity for up to 400 beds.

Eligibility:

• Minimum 90 days required participation (with extensions as needed and as capacity allows)​
• Individuals with mild mental illness and who are stable are eligible
• For non-English and non-Spanish speakers, eligibility is on a case-by case basis
• Any crime is eligible. To be determined on a case by case basis: arson, sex related offenses and those with 290 registration.
