Providing Opportunities for Women in Reentry (POWR)
Program Overview
The JCOD Providing Opportunities for Women in Reentry (POWR) program links systems-impacted women to safe housing, employment, family reunification, support groups, mental health, and substance use treatment, to reduce recidivism, improve their well-being, and achieve self-sufficiency.
Main program components:
- Peer led case management and mentorship
- Curriculum based on Cognitive Behavioral principles
- Transportation Services
- Interim Housing for single women, women identified and women with children
Eligibility: System impacted women/women identified who are over 18
