Developing Opportunities and Offering Reentry Solutions (D.O.O.R.S)
Our Mission
The Justice, Care and Opportunities Department (JCOD) cultivates a person-centered, coordinated continuum of care for vulnerable justice-impacted individuals and their communities. By leading collaborative system improvement efforts, we focus on prevention, diversion, and reentry to achieve community safety, wellbeing, and equitable justice.
About D.O.O.R.S
Developing Opportunities and Offering Reentry Solutions (D.O.O.R.S.) is JCOD’s community-based reentry program that connects justice-impacted individuals and their families to coordinated, person-centered services that promote stability, self-sufficiency, and successful reintegration. Through partnerships with County departments and community-based organizations, D.O.O.R.S. provides access to housing, employment, education, legal services, behavioral health, substance use treatment, family reunification, public benefits, and other supportive services that help individuals build a strong foundation for long-term success.
