JCOD to Break Ground on New Warm Landing Place Facility to Support People Returning Home From Jail

LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles County Justice, Care and Opportunities Department (JCOD), Los Angeles County Public Works, Board Chair and First District Supervisor Hilda L. Solis, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Los Angeles City officials and community partners will gather Wednesday, Sept. 9 for a groundbreaking ceremony for the new JCOD Warm Landing Place facility in downtown Los Angeles.
The new facility, located directly across from Men’s Central Jail, will expand JCOD’s Warm Landing Place program, which connects people with immediate support as they return to the community following release from the downtown Los Angeles jail complex.
