LOS ANGELES – The Justice, Care and Opportunities Department (JCOD) invites nonprofit organizations to apply for funding through the fourth round of Los Angeles County’s Care First Community Investment (CFCI) Care Grants, which support community-based services across Los Angeles County.
The fourth LA County CFCI Care Grant funding allocation was approved by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on June 24, 2025 and includes funding for Family and Community Supports/LA City/County Native American Indian Commission, Bridge Funding/Working Capital, CFCI Targeted Technical Assistance and CFCI unrestricted one-time needs.
Organizations interested in applying should review all eligibility requirements, complete the application and submit all required materials through the Round 4 LA County CFCI application at TPA Home. Applications must be submitted by May 27, 2026, at 5:00 PM PST to be considered.
CFCI was created by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and placed under JCOD’s stewardship in November 2022 to invest in community-based services and expand access to critical resources across the County.
The program was established following the approval of Measure J in 2020, which requires the County to allocate 10% of its locally generated, unrestricted revenues to community investment and alternatives to traditional justice system responses. Since its launch, LA County CFCI Care Grants have directed more than $350 million to community-based organizations serving residents across all five supervisorial districts.
