CFCI Community Listening Session (Virtual)
The LA County Justice, Care and Opportunities Department Invites You to Community Listening Sessions for Care First Community Investment (CFCI)
Help shape how community funding is used across Los Angeles County

|
What is CFCI?
Care First Community Investment, or CFCI, is a Los Angeles County effort that puts public dollars back into local communities.
Since 2022, CFCI has awarded more than $350 million to more than 160 local organizations across Los Angeles County that help people with housing, mental health support, job training, youth programs and other services.
The goal is simple: fund services that help people, support families and build safer communities.
Why are these meetings happening?
The Justice, Care and Opportunities Department, also known as JCOD, and the CFCI Advisory Committee want to hear from residents.
These meetings are a chance for you to say what services your community needs most.
Your feedback will help guide future funding decisions.
CFCI funds support a wide range of community services. These listening sessions will help identify which areas need more support, including:

- Youth Development & Education
- Workforce Development
- Small Business Development For Minority-Owned Businesses
